I love using floor lamps in my work because they provide both ambient and task lighting. So many floor lamps have their own sculptural quality – a melding of art and function. Floor lamps work particularly well in small spaces when you don’t want to take up floor space with tables. I also love using them on both sides of a sculptural sofa to create some drama.
These lamps from McGuire and Neirmann Weeks are some of my favorites. All three lamps have beautiful metallic finishes so they possess interesting form and texture.
