I came across these beautiful images of clean lined outdoor spaces at Canadian House and Home and they got me thinking about outdoor rooms.  It is important to have your outdoor rooms reflect the style sensibility of your indoor space.  I often seem homes that have unique contemporary interiors but the outdoor space is unimaginatively furnished with traditionally styled teak. There are many great outdoor furnishings on the market that let you express your style outdoors as well as in.  Take the time to carefully select each element and search out unique sources to get the look you want.  Most importantly, stay away from matched furniture sets!  Mixing and matching materials will instantly upgrade the look of your deck or patio.
