When our client purchased this Back Bay residence, it was filled with overwhelming colors and harsh details, so we completely transformed the home into a calm, sophisticated urban retreat. In the living room, a dramatic multilevel onyx fireplace surround creates a stunning focal point, complemented by sculptural lighting, beautiful artwork and comfortable, tailored furnishings. We designed a smaller den/TV room to maximize every square foot, incorporating a custom storage ottoman, additional comfortable seating and discreet storage.

In the primary bedroom, warm taupe tones, textured wallcovering, luxurious bedding and custom window treatments create a serene retreat. That calming palette continues into the primary bathroom, where elegant mosaic marble flooring balances beauty with everyday practicality. Throughout the home, thoughtful built-in storage, layered neutrals and standout materials combine to create a polished interior that feels luxurious, comfortable and distinctly suited to city living.
